Several vehicles were involved in a crash near the Rankin Bridge in Whitaker on Monday evening.The crash happened around 7 p.m.“I’m working in the store, looking out the window, and seen a whole bunch of cars come in and two cars in pursuit, and next thing you know, we heard a boom!” explained Jan Smith, a witness to the crash.Witnesses also told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 they saw several people being taken away from the scene in handcuffs.There was no initial word on if anyone was hurt.
